Amara and I spent the day in Spokane. We tried to go downtown by the falls, but it was a zoo (it was Hoopfest)...so we went for Plan B....THE MALL! After purchasing some adorable new "J's" for Mar's birthday, we went for a 2 mile walk along the river on Centennial Trail. We had so much fun! We saw chipmunks and squirrels and a beautiful waterfall! Downtown Spokane has an area with a few rides...Mar wanted to drive the airplane!
Then we came back home and had dinner and Birthday Cake....Just the two of us! We miss Griffen....he left this morning for Colorado; It's going to be a loooong 10 days without him!
